Worldbuilding: The Beginning of the End
Date: 13th Feb - 26th Feb
As the year started with worldbuilding, it was informed to me that things would be vastly different from last years class. For our primary project we would be constructing art books and would have to follow 3 main catagories.
- Archetecture
- Culture
- Nature
These three foothold would help embody the world we were trying to create, although I was stuch on my my desion for my ideas, or settling on one of two.
My first idea was based around my facination of Necromancy, or magoic of the dead, and I would have a primary base around the creatures, people and living or unlving situation in this world.
My Second idea was to play a more simple route, by having a templar save a young boy, the son of a 'witch' and have her flee with the boy from her previous order of knights across the land to find a safe haven.
Througout the first and second week I planed out my pro's and cons for each, aswell as primary information I wanted, an din the end I settled on the First Idea, The Fallen Lord. After this I experimented with worling in greyscale and sihlouettes, aswell as trying to learn how to photobash, which had some interesting results.
